ROFLOL

This article from The Star really made me ROFLOL!!

Title: Our currency wrongly denoted
FOR many years now, prices or monetary values used in our country are denoted by the acronym RM and pronounced as Ringgit Malaysia (or Malaysian Ringgit).

However, try picking up an Asian edition of an international magazine or checking our exchange rates via an international financial website, chances are our currency is often denoted as either MYR or MY$, while currencies of other countries (including those of neighbouring ones) are correctly used.

What happened to RM?

Dear Sir,
Firstly i hope you DO UNDERSTAND what does MYR stands for..
MY = 2 letter code for Malaysia / R = Ringgit..
same goes to SGD/USD/AUD/IDR/JPY/KRW/CNY... it's a standard international currency format for your information... do research first before u write this ok?

Oh my...

It's about my travel trade trip to Kolkata on 24th next Sunday... Just received a call from Kolkata this noon... saying that there will be a slight change on my itinerary... instead of visiting the sightseeing around Kolkata (overland).. the organizers and the tourism board decided to fly us to Jorhat... the most northeast side of India....

Uh.. i seriously got no idea where the hell is Jorhat.. until i google it..

Accoring to the itinerary.. it's 1hr30mins flight from Kolkata across the air of Bangladesh... and the main place we going to visit is the Kaziranga National Park...

Just googled images of Jorhat and Kaziranga... Seems like Jorhat is a beautiful place with greens & lakes and famous for it's tea garden... and Kaziranga is the place that reknown for it's "one-horned" Rhinos...

Jorhat

Kaziranga

hmmm... should i bring along the DSLR?

Ready Finally

Our wedding ring is finally ready to collect.. after sending in for a month to resize...

Well it's a rose gold with 3 tiny diamonds on it... rose gold is a combination of 75% gold + 21% copper + 4% silver... so you might be seeing it's abit pinkish like bronze... :)

the picture is not quite clear... will capture it again after the DSLR is back... (now it's in Penang) :p

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag)

Malaysia is always one of the last on implementation.. this activity has been practice in overseas such as europe for N years... what am i talking about??? ok... government of Selangor state has implemented the rule that the shoppers will not be provided any plastic bags on every saturday on their purchase... meaning they need to bring their own shopping bags....

to take the initiative to start this practice in Malaysia.. i brought my own bag for grocery shopping few days ago eventhough it's not a saturday... i bought eggs, a bottle of milk, and some cereal bars... at casher counter i handed the casher my own bag... knowing the milk is too heavy to put together.. i told him i can carry without putting into the bag... he even ask me "i give you plastic bag for the milk ok?" i said no need -_-" ... aren't the casher suppose to educate customers reduce using plastic bag eventhough it's not on saturdays instead of offering those plastic bags to customers on normal days??? then can i ask you dear casher.. do you really understand what's the whole point the Selangor gov implement this practice????

My cute strawberry-transformed bag... that can be stored easily into my handbag..
