Trip to Ipoh

Why such a sudden plan?

1) It's someone BIRD DAY
2) We need a break from this concrete jungle

We departed from Kuala Lumpur after lunch on Saturday. When we arrived Ipoh, it's about time for Dinner when the HOST (the Bird Day Guy aka TK) and the HOSTRESS (Si Thau Poh aka S) are free for us.. haha

TK took us to Koh Samui the Thai Restaurant that featured several times in his blog

Fresh Coconut

Mango Salad

Pineapple Fried Rice

Coconut-Base Tomyam (Thumbs UP, but can be more up up if they add in chilli padi)

Seafood Otak-Otak (Thumbs UP!!)

Chicken feet skin Salad (my fave!!!)

Commend: Food Great, Service Great, Ambience Great, Highly recommended

After dinner, we followed TK to "yumcha" with his buddies Felix, Han, Boy and Kamparboy aka Kev.. but then the "yumcha" session turned to be a touge session.. **More about touge session**

During the uphill drive.. i realize i havent been so crazy already.. i found out that im no longer the one i used to be and started to fear about mountain roads.. it's very sad that my passion and enthusiastic has gone....... once i told myself "Touge is my life". But then now look at me.. my life has become meaningless without realizing........
i think i should get a car quickly before getting more depressed...

xxxxxxx

This morning, TK brought us for dimsum breakfast at "Ming Kok"

Then a leisure walk at Kek Loke Cave. (I always mix up the Kek Loke Cave and the Nan Tien Cave which is located by the road).. Well Kek Loke Cave is much quieter and nicer view.... see??

Does it look like a horse?

Hundred of Koi in a small pond?

We went thru the cave and there's a "paradise" awaiting for us!! It's also a hot spot for morning walk!!

Do you think this look like a lion statue?

After part of our food digested, we head for "brunch" at Big Tree Food Court.
What's so famous there? The most-try fried stuff and curry noodle..

Queue to pick what u want

I ordered porridge too!!

I ordered "3-Eggs Porridge"

Take-away time for salted chicken

Before hit back to KL, Kisumi addicted already and went for another touge session heh.. and meet up with Kev again for another round of yumcha..

Muahahaha envy leh... this trip is about nothing much else but eat!! It's sooooooo cheap and enjoyable to makan in Ipoh if compare with KL... hehehe.. Once again thanks to Tk for his generous and kindness and his precious time for us.. and HAPPY BIRD DAY :p

P/s: i got myself some watches.. haha leng mou??

and this is my belated birthday present.. thanks i'll keep myself reminded on where i belong to :)
