Back Date: 5 Nov 08 ~ Verona + Venice


Not bad today.. got up at 5am.. hehe... so today we are gonna leave the fashionable city of Milan.. towards to the eastern part of Italy to the romantic city of Venice.. and Verona the city of love...

Alot of ppl have heard about "Romeo & Juliet" by William Shakespeare.. but not many know that this true story is actually happened in Verona.. located 2.5hrs away from Milan...

Our journey continues to Venice.. Venice also name as "The Sinking City" where it looks like the city going to sink due to raise of sea level.. "flood" is a common phenomena for them during the raining season....

We need to get on a boat from Venice Mestre to St Mark Square located at the Island...

We can see alot of souvenir stores selling this kind of beautiful mask in Verona & Venice.... what is it so famous for?
It was due to the famous "Carnival of Venice" Carnevale Di Venezia.. celebrated between Jan and Feb each year in St Mark Square Venice.. (more info1 & info2)
