Japanese Curry & Beef Teriyaki


hehehe.... yesterday Deepavali a public hoilday in M'sia... so just find something to cook....

always like the Japanese curry that my coll always cook... just so happen it's in the recipe book i bought.... looks so easy so just try laa....

Japanese Curry
Ingredient:
1 onion (diced)
2 carrot (diced)
2 potato (diced)
400gm meat (any meat, beef/pork ribs/chicken) - diced
4 cubes of Japanese curry paste
water

Method:
1) add some oil to the wok/pot, fry onion till fragrance
2) add in meat and stir-fry for 5 mins.
3) add in diced potato and carrot.
4) pour in water to cover all the indregient, add in Japanese curry paste, stir till paste disolve into the water.
5) bring to boil and simmer for 30 mins...
6) Tada done







Beef Teriyaki
400gm lean beef, thinly sliced
2tbsp teriyaki sauce
1tbsp mirin
1 onion sliced

Method:
1) merinate the beef with teriyaki sauce and mirin for 2 hrs
2) hot pan add oil and fry onion till fragrance
3) add in the beef and stir fry till beef tender..
4) done haha..





this is the wholesome Japanese meal i prepared.. haha
