Spanish @ La Cocina

we are soon going to celebrate our 27th months togather... same as past 26 months we celebrate with good food... this round we are running out of idea what to have... so while kisumi was having his nap.. i quickly do some research by reviewing some food blogs.... hmmm anything lah as long as no japanese korean italian.. by narrowing down my search area to Taipan & USJ 9.. i found out something DIFFERENT with good reviews....

La Cocina - the authentic Spanish cuisine...

Wine of the month..

Tapas (Spanish Appetizer) they have range of Tapas
we ordered.. Champignones a la Crema (Button Mushroom in Cream Sauce)... best serve with bread

and Mejjilones Gratinadas (Baked Mussels in Cheese)

Im a fan of Paella.. we ordered Mariscos (Spanish saffron rice with large prawns, shrimps, clams, squid, mussels, fish fillet & vegetables) just nice for 2

Feel Free to add on.. but for me.. original tastes the best

for Postres (Dessert) .. i ordered Pastel de Chocolate (Rich Chocolate Brownie).. it looks and tastes good... but it would be great if they heat up the brownie a little more... the brownie wasn't hot enough to "contrast" with the vanilla ice cream...

The food was great.. more than great.. it's excellet.. trust me u'll gotta love it.. the portion is just nice for 2 person.. and the price is reasonable tooo... worth for money...

Next time have to try their signature Paella - Negres that cooked in black squid ink!!!
