Mazda AZ-1
The Mazda AZ-1 (Autozam 1) is a rare 2-seater kei-car, sold by Mazda from 1992 to 1995. Powered by a mid-mounted turbocharged and intercoolered 650cc DOHC 3-cylinder engine, the entire car is built from specialized plastic and weights in at an impressive 720kg (1590Ibs).
Very futuristic in its design and advanced in its engineering for that era, the AZ-1, was a favourite and is still very attractive with its round headlights, gull-wing doors and characteristic side strakes.
Only 4,409 units of the AZ-1 were produced and due to its rarity, design and enginnnering marvel, it is now sought-after by collectors.
