Passport Renew

Well working in a travel agency.. we always need to get our passport ready.. even it's 1 or 2 months away from the "6 months validity".. we still need to take our own initiative to renew it....

i went to Subang Airport Terminal 2 to renew mine...

Din know they have got such "Kiosk" thing specially for passport renewal...
Well what u have to do is just follow the criteria and you are able to renew it
1) Old Passport with chip
2) Age 18 and above
3) photocopy of IC
4) 1 Passport size photo (blue background)
5) RM 300 cash

What you have to do is just Q at the KIPPAS kiosk

Place item 3 & 4 into the brown envelope given.. When it's your turn.. u just need to slot in your passport and IC to the machine...wait for thumb print verification and finally key in your mobile number and pay like a cash deposit machine... (there will be few personnel to assist) then a receipt will be printed out...

The receipt says "collecting time: 2 hours later"

ah... 2 hours... So.. i went to the newly renovated Terminal 3 for a drink and chit chat with the Berjaya Air sales personnel at Starbucks.... Terminal 3 has become very trendy and stylish... their check-in counter is more like a hotel than an airport!!

After that.. i went back to the Immigration office to redeem my calling number to get my passport!!

Yeah very fast... DONE!!

Operating Hour

If you are tooo bz during the above operating hour.. you can actually renew it on weekends... there are only 2 branches operating on Sat & Sun from 8am to 1pm... the 2 branches are Shah Alam PKNS Complex.. and Damansara...
