Tour to Hokkaido ~ Part 4

Like i mentioned, we will always treated good during FAM trip. (FAM stands for familiarization, aka famil, it's a common term in turism industry). Good food good service good accommodation as u can see for now. For me i was really unused to the huge portion especially after the diet program. For past few days in Hokkaido, after the morning call, instead of having breakfast, i went for a morning walk. The weather was great, sun was shining brightly, crystal blue sky cotton white clouds, place was peaceful, flowers blooming..... (oh ya sunrises at 4.00am serious shit you are not going to believe until u actually experienced it)

Well i was pretty worried in Noboribetsu, and was expecting some uneasiness. When i wake up the next day morning, i was unexpectedly ok. I guess it would be fine as long as i dont touch the onsen water with high sulfur content. Moreover this is not the first time i visit this place, i was completely fine when i was here 3 years back.

Hell Valley wasn't part of our itinerary, but since it's just stone-throw away. So after wash up, i went there for morning walk.

This day was the busiest and tiring day for us.. Why? we only have this day left and will be leaving the next day morning.. And we need to rush to our last destination - Rusutsu.. But before leaving Noboribetsu, there's one more place waiting for to inspect - The new attraction Date Jidai MuraNinja-theme Park.

This guy, is actually the one who we had dinner with at the previous night.. haha..

Great ninja show

We then proceed to Rusutsu... Toilet stop at Lake Toya Lookout Point... Stunning

Finally we arrived at Rusutsu Resort just nice for lunch. As i introdused before, Rusutsu Resort is the biggest and most famous ski resort in Hokkaido with 3 ski mountains and more than 37 ski lanes; It also has a huge amusement park with 5 roller coaster rides that will close on winter season; Besides it have 4 18-holes golf courses, one of it does operate at night, so guests can enjoy night golfing. It has 2 main buildings: Resort Wing & Tower Wing. The Resort Wing is more cater for skiers, and the Tower Wing which located next to the golf courses are more for golfers, and there's a monorail service between the 2 buildings.

Hmm how shall i put it.. the concept is like genting highlands, a one-stop accommodation with theme-parks and shopping stalls just that they do not have the casino, but with ski mountains. haha....

We has our lunch at one of their buffet outlets. Ahh finally of all these days we have had our choice for some western food at last....

After the meal, i went to toilet to freshen up, and i was left behind without them noticing :( i was like DAMN.. the next activity is to plant the Cherry Blossom aka Sakura tree, and i was left behind.. sob sob... what am i going to do?????

Ok dont panic.. i used to be the nevigator for treasure hunt session when i was in Australia last October.. and i've done it well.. missing from the group isnt a big deal... i shouldnt have to be panic.. worse come to worst just get back to the hotel room and wait for them to come back after all tiring rooms inspection.. haha.. but i'll be missing out the fun of planting Sakura trees and labeling my name onto the tree.. sob sob...

what should i do then?? of all thoughts i quickly flick thru all the business cards i've received and look for the Rusutsu's logo.. Mr Koshika, Marketing Director, Overseas Market. Yes this is the one who has been accompanying us and be our translator since we touched dowm in Hokkaido. i feel hope again, and quickly rush to the lobby, and ask one of the front desk girl who understand English to contact Mr Koshika.

After awhile, they have finally located the group, they were at the Tower Wing heading to the golf courses. The girl from the front desk was very kind to escort me back with the group. We took the monorail from the Resort Wing to the Tower Wing. When we arrived at the Tower Wing, another girl from the golf course management told us that they have gone into the golf course, and she's gotta show us the way. ok now i felt like im a VIP that needs 2 person to ensort me haha... After 10 minutes of walking (no buggy ok just WALK) there's no sign of "sakura estate" yet so i asked the girl from the lobby how far exactly is the planting place. They replied it might take quite a distance. Maybe i walk faster than the group, finally i was able to catch up with them when we are almost there. I thank the 2 girls with 90 degrees bow, and felt abit guilty as the girl from the lobby walked with me all the way in about 3KM in her high heels, really appreciate their help.

I was just in time for the planting lesson, the group was surprised to see me. They thought that i will just waiting for them in the hotel room, and never thougth of how could i made it. Haha and i told them im a genius hehehe...

Finally i have my OWN sakura tree in Hokkaido

After the tree planting, we have to walk back to the Tower Wing (not again.. i know walking is a good exercise.. but why cant we have buggy???)

Lobby of Tower Wing

Every hotel rooms in the Tower Wing are in "duplex" concept.. meaning there are 2 floors in one unit. And each unit of a standard room can accommodate up to 6 person includes accupying the bed that "hide" inside the cupboard and the sofa beds..

View of Amusement Park from the Tower Wing

Lavendar Onsen

We then head back to the Resort Wing to inspect some VIP suitrooms.

Next to inspect the LOG HOUSE!! Wow. These log houses are located just right beside the ski slopes.

These single-story log house can accommodate up to 7 person.

Bigger double-story can accommodate up to 20 person!

We then took the cable car up to one of the ski mountains

haha view from above

One of the most thrilling ride

Merry-Go-Round

Ok after all these, now we are given 30mins time to freshen up before continue our last session of product briefing.... and dinner......

My room

cant concentrate much on the briefing. too tired. Ok skip the part, and lets jump to Dinner time. This resort is simple too huge and we need to one end to another for our dinner. Sigh walk again.

Our last dinner in Hokkaido would be sashimi, chawanmushi, tempura, and baked prawn with cheese..

Ok we have to get go and pack our stuffs for the next day's early morning flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

And that's all about our tour. Once again, a millionth thanks to Kamori Kamko Group, Japan Airlines and JALPAK for the wonderful and unforgettable trip to Hokkaido..

P/s: well i thought i was ok with the sulfur, but i wasn't 100% right about it. Afer came back to KL, my hands and legs started to swell.. it was confirmed sulfur allergic after i consulted my panel doc.. just that my body reacted slower than what it was supposed to be... damn it
