Celebrating Jay's at Umai-Ya

Actually this makan session was organized by Nic... but i only got to know it's for Jay 2 hours before fetching him from his house (sorry Jay).. It was quite sometime din in touch with him since our steamboat session last year Aug at his house.. haha....

I was given an impression as a Food Lover.. in more particularly a FOOD CRAZE.. there are FOOD most of the time in my entries and Facebook update... well my body size cant lie... that's one of the reasons to cause a delay on my 60kg project.. :p

Umai-ya has 2 outlets... One in Damansara Perdana.. another in Damansara Uptown... The one that Nic chosen was the Uptown...

This restaurant is kinda cozy and romantic... i quite like the ambiance... Downstairs with table setting.. and upstairs with Japanese-style.. we were arranged at upstairs :)

This restaurant serves a very good combination between traditional and fusion Japanese cuisine.. which still remain the most important element - the presentations..

Topped with salmon sashimi.. decorated with sliced avocado.. fried egg.. fish row.. and fried salmon skin... layered with salmon flakes and mayo..

Went to London Weight Management last week with my colleague at Lot 10.. for some "free" consultation....


well... we were served by one of the professional consultant Ms Jess....
After weight and height measurement.. she started to propose to us some slimming packages that suits our individual body...


i fell into "seriously overweight" category.. so.. i was proposed to sign up a 20-times package to get the body shape like this...

which includes
1) Aroma Steam
2) Lavender Scrub
3) Hot Blanket
4) Advance Slimming Machine
5) Sauna

This 20-times session will cost me at RM 8200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wah.. i tot nowadays most of the slimming centers are offering packages like around RM 1500+... why this one so expensive one ahhh????? can anybody tell me what's the difference between this London and others????

The Worst Japanese Buffet I Ever Had

on Saturday night.. by invitation of Kisumi's pet sis and ter friends.. we went for supper session at Tenji.. located at Solaris Mont Kiara....

Heard that they are having kinda "promotion" for supper on weekend from 9.30pm till mid night... welll knowing that this restaurant is kinda new we just give it a try...

when we arrived at Tenji on 9.30pm sharp... we saw a long queue at the restaurant entrance.. all for reserved pax only... it's so full house on that night till ppl were not entertained without reservation!! WOW.. FULL HOUSE??

we were arranged to sit at the VIP room... it's less packed but it very far away from the food counter... actually who cares as long as the food is good...

BUT.... it made me totally extremely disappointed.........

first of all.. their sushi rice... im not sure what kinda rice they are using... dont even have the aroma of japanese rice... why ah?? looks like japanese but doesn't taste like it??

secondly their salmon sushi and even sashimi... dont have the taste of salmon at all.... salmon sushi i bought in jusco even taste better.....

thirdly their rock oyster.. i never taste that kinda stink oyster before in my life... the stinky chemical (donno whatever it is) smell and taste still run inside my mouth even after 24 hrs...

fourthly...you know how they calculate the service charge and gov tax?? well we went for special promotion "supper session" it suppose to be RM 39.90 per person before tax... but their tax are calculated based on RM 88.00 original price.. so it comes to all at RM 53 per person... DAMN feel like kena con.. what kind of T&C is that????

RM 53 i can get much better food at Saisaki or even ala carte at other typical japanese restaurant.... BETTER FOOD AT SAME VALUE!!

yes no doubt ppl visiting their restaurant is tremendously alot... but doesn't mean they don't need to have a QC on their food...

And im an oyster craze... but the oysters at Tenji really made me puke....

I really pity ppl that paid RM 88 for this kinda of food quality...

sorry for my high expectation on gourmet... but Tenji really made me sick and disappointed...
