20 Nov 07: Touge Day

Ehem... It has been awhile.. me putting "touge" aside.. due to high fuel charges and low budget... (yeah i know it's excuses)... and no car mah... not too good always touge with others' car.. eventhough it's Kisumi's...

Last Sat night.. Kisumi's dad knocked our door asking for direction... "Shell Station beside Cheras Bt9 Toll".. said that's the meeting point for his morning drive with his biker gang... (yeah biker gang... dont pray pray...) Since i stay nearby to the toll.. i just showed him the location at the satelite image of google earth... Then.. his SMS beeps said "This time our route will be Hulu Langat - Kuala Klawang - Karak"... me and Kisumi was :o "Oh My God.. can we just follow?" Yeah i know it's abit weird... touge with a bunch of bikes?? can we even keep up with them??

On Sunday morning... we gathered at Shell Station at around 7am... in a total of 5 superbikes... and ehem 1 slow steady savvy.... -_-" .... here we go... towards to Hulu Langat.....

Here is our route... covering 3 states.. 9th Miles Cheras (Selangor) --> 14th Miles Hulu Langat --> Kem Tekali --> (Joining 18th Miles Hulu Langat) --> Jelebu (Negeri Sembilan) --> Kg Chennah --> Titi --> Kuala Klawang --> Pertang --> Simpang Pertang --> Durian Tipus --> Mancis (Pahang) --> Gapoi --> Karak --> Bentong --> Genting Highlangs --> Gombak (Selangor) --> Cheras

Gathering at Shell Station

I was lucky.. coz kisumi allowed me to drive.... from 9th Miles Cheras till somewhere between Jelebu & Kg Chennah.... why?? coz that's my touge training base when i was still with my kancil.... hehe...

Eventually from 9th Miles Cheras to 14th Miles Hulu Langat.. dont get to drive fast... coz there are people staying by the road... and quite heavy traffic... At 14th Miles Hulu Langat.. we have to make a right turn at the cross-junction after the mosque towards Kem Tekali...

The real touge road starts exactly 4km after we turned right.... combination of medium high speed sweeper... uphill & downhill.... Then.. we have to make a left turn at the T-junction.. just right infront of the Hulu Langat water reservoir... i was behind kisumi's dad for this section... as a sweeper...

From the T-junction towards to the joint of 18th Miles Hulu Langat... it's basically considered as high speed section... with alot of straights which can zoom up to 140km/h... i took a lead in front of all the bikers.... from the T-junction... hehe.. after the joint of 18th Miles Hulu Langat till Jelebu border it's a continuous uphill curves.. with rhythm similar with Cameron's old road.. hehe dont say i bully uncles ok... coz im really get used to the rhythm already... although i haven't been running there for at least a year :p

We stopped 1/2 way waiting for the bikers... and meantime kisumi also got affected by my touge bugs... so we switch drivers... and continue our journey... After Jelebu border.. it's combination of medium - high speed corners & straights.. Kisumi's favourite ^^ (which i bet Tougeking will love this too).. It has quite good scenery in the morning... especially when there are still with dew..

Short Stop at Kg Chennah Junction

High speed corners and straights again... from Kg Chennah towards Titi and Kuala Klawang...

Macho Bikers!!!

We arrived Kuala Klawang at around 9am... for breakfast stop
Bike become Helmet Hanger haha

Installing Anti-fog plate

Kuala Klawang Town

From Kuala Klawang to Simpang Pertang... we can only cruise along... coz there are alot of kampung area beside the road... we took a left turn at Simpang Pertang and head towards Durian Tipus.....

Arrrggggg Lorry!!!

Durian Tipus

We then cross the state border into Pahang... passing by a small town name Mancis (namely matches) :p ... after crossing the border.... we can obviously felt the rood was not well maintained as Negeri Sembilan side... From Mancis to Gapoi... the road getting more and more narrow... what is can discribe is thr rhythm is quite similar to Fraser's Gap to Raub.. some part even as narrow as Genting Sempah...

2 mins video clip

Stop at Gapoi for a rest

When we were at Gapoi.. i received a SMS from TK saying he will be heading up to Genting.. together with Han & his gf anda also another friend Hong.... we were thinking... since we gotta passby entrance to Genting Highlands... why dont we go up there as well... have a cuppa and chatch up with each other?? sounds great right.. :p

The journey from 9th Miles Cheras to Karak took around 3hours plus after minus the breakfast stop and some short rest.. at around 180KM...

After a 100plus break.. we then split with the biker gang.. and head up to Gohtong Jaya... to have our lunch while waiting for TK....
Oh no.. look at the sky... it's going to rain ler....

Here comes TK... "tailgating"

Landslide

few corners after Awana... we cant even smell his smoke already :(
wah lau that fella.. we really hail and salute him ler... still be able to uphill at atleast 110km/h.. taking full line.. with his old Rav4 with 4 ppl inside!!! :o I can bet!!! No one can beat him!!! he deserved this name - TOUGEKING!!!

Remember this car!! Fucking reckless driver without concerning ppl's safety!!!

When we arrived to the top.. TK already long waited for us.. we then lead them to the open air car park.. and head to Coffee Bean for a drink and "blow-water" session... at around 3pm.. me and kisumi really cannot tahan already... too tired especially me rest for 4 hours only at the previous night... here we beat good bye with TK.. then back to KL....

Raining.... Genting 5 continuous hairpin

Total Journey back to 9th Miles Cheras Shell Station took us around 300KM.. including Genting up/down hill... hehe.... reach home at 4.15pm.. and tired like a dead fish....

So.. TK & Charsiu.... are my photos seductive enuff to lure u guys come for a leisure run?? hahaha
