Back Date: 24 Oct 07 - Arrived Melbourne

Well .. we are not the only ppl that participated in the Famil.. as i heard there are also some other ppl from Singapore and Thailand also joining together... in a total of 17 ppl will be gathered in Melbourne for 4 Days 3 Night tour...

Upon arrival at Melbourne in the morning, we been transferred to to check into hotel. unfortunately the rooms are not ready yet.. so we keep our luggage in the conciege and explore around on our own.... it was kinda cold and windy in Melbourne.. around 11*C.. and it's the best time to enjoy a cup of rich aroma coffee at Starbucks.. which is located opposite our hotel...

Around 11.45am... all the deligates has arrived.. and we were transferred for lunch.... Our lunch venue is at Chocolate Buddha, Federation Square, Flinders St, a restaurant that serves asian fusion food... ermm... they also got serve japanese food like ramen, sushi, sashimi set.. but their japanese food tasted totally different from what we can have here in KL.... sushi also not using japanese rice.... so... ermm... eventually it looks great....

After lunch... we break into small groups of 4-5 ppl... to begin with the treasure hunt session... we were given a set of questions, a camera, a set of map, and also a daypass for city tram... after getting some clues from the Melbourne Visitors Information Centre... then we were required to take some group photos at Crown Casino, Melbourne Aquarium, Observation Deck, and finally our last stop is the world tallest residential building Eureka Tower.... these attractions are kinda walking distance to each other.. and very easiy to access thru the city tram network....

Eureka Tower's observation deck on level 88 is 285 metres from the ground, making it the highest public vantage point in Melbourne, and the Southern Hemisphere... The Edge... is a automated cubical box... that will stretch out from the building.... and it's transparent floor platform.. will make u kinda freaked out!!! hahaha...

around 6pm.. we were transferred to Docklands quey to board on a cruise to see the world smallest urban penguins return to their burrows.... on board we were served wine, and fish & chip as our dinner... overseeing the romantic sunset....

The cruise took us 2 hours.... at 8pm... we back to Docklands.. and back to our hotel - Oaks On Market... and end our day in Melbourne.....
